East coast based production company is seeking a composer and/or existing music for a feature length documentary about the often overlooked and growing problem of homelessness in small town America. Homelessness is mainly assumed to be an urban occurrence, but this film aims to bring awareness that people experience the same difficulties in America's small towns and rural areas as they do in urban environments. Seeking several types of instrumental music for this project: - Dramatic, sad, sorrow-filled instrumental music - Country blues instrumentals (vocals may be considered) - Heartwarming, uplifting instrumentals that help portray hope. Composers and musicians from all geographical areas will be considered. Compensation: Negotiable (low budget project); Additional composer fees may be negotiated in the event of a distribution deal or if other commercial opportunities are presented for the film as the film may be entered into the film festival circuit. Deadline: July 1, 2018 unless selected before this date and the job is closed early.
