Award-winning Colorado based director is seeking a score composer and/or music immediately for an independent feature film. Synopsis: Our main character, 31 year old Charlie is diagnosed with end-stage cancer and has been told that he only has a few months to live. Deciding to forgo treatment, he and his girlfriend, Stella sell everything they own and set out across the U.S., from NYC to LA on foot. Along the way, they meet numerous colorful characters and some join them on their journey. The film is billed as an inspirational drama. It is a story of enduring love, new friends, a little bit of comedy and ultimately, tragedy. Seeking emotional and inspirational music. Also seeking dramatic music that pulls at the heart strings. Open to different genres. Indie/alt/folk rock tracks with vocals are also needed. Think 'Into the Wild' soundtrack. Male or female vocals will be considered. Composers and musicians from all geographical areas will be considered. Compensation: Negotiable (low budget project); Additional composer fees may be negotiated in the event of a distribution deal or if other commercial opportunities are presented for the film as the film may be entered into the film festival circuit.
