Los Angeles based independent production company is seeking a score composer or existing music to license immediately for a feature film. The film is billed as a quirky, dark comedy/drama. Synopsis: Ever wonder what the people in the cars next to you are doing when your driving down the highway? What's going on in their lives? Are they a happy family? Why is she crying? Are they on their way rob a bank? Did that guy pick up a prostitute? What are they arguing about? This is a feature length film that is comprised of five shorts, each one taking place in a car driving down the highway. None of the characters from any vehicle ever meet, their stories are separate and their emotions run the gamut from quirky joyful to utter despair as should the music. Open to different genres. Composers and musicians from all geographical areas will be considered. Compensation: Negotiable (low budget); Additional composer fees may be negotiated in the event of a distribution deal or if other commercial opportunities are presented for the film as the film may be entered into the film festival circuit. Deadline: April 15, 2020 unless selected before this date and the job is closed early.
